The Light Behind Your Eyes

If I go, will you follow me out of

the dark and into the yellow paint sun,

Bathe in the golden light, coalesced and

Congealed in the glow like paraffin wax?

When we stand in the dawn we are exposed

When you see, what will you do? Will you run?

Will you return to the darkness alone?

Follow me. It is not a request, nor

is it a promise- it is a warning.

Follow me, or I will paint you in a

new light, harsh and cold and vibrantly bright

accentuated only by my hands

I will paint you until I drive you blind

So all you see is only light and me
